How Did Doc Impersonate Eddie's Voice?

She only went to the car because she heard Eddie's voice.

I always wondered the same...maybe doc had it recorded from the past on a studio session?

reply

more than likely doc recorded it from an earlier flashback scene in the movie ... when the movie was being made that is :P lol

i dunno but maybe it was a recording of the Eddie impersonator in Sal's band? he pretty much sucked as a singing impersonator so maybe he could do just Eddie talking better?

one of the plot holes in the movie no doubt ...

take care,

One of the mysteries of the movie as I call it lol.

It's explained better in the novel...in the film, there's a throwaway line about Doc being the "Master of Voices, Maker of Choices..." anyway, in the book, it is better established that Doc is good at mimicry. Other than that one line in the movie, though, they don't give it much of a second thought.

reply

That's right! Makes sense now...I thought that line referred to him being a dj...just as a nick name of some sort.

I always thought it was a 'Joanne heard what she wanted to hear' type thing. You could see that she was beginning to crack mentally.
