Quality of bootleg DVDs
The bootleg dvds that are floating around on ebay, are they all sourced from VHS, or are there some that are better quality? Has any of you guys bought one of the boots? What was the quality like?

All of them are complete CRAP quality except for one guy who sells usually under the name of something related to zippy or birds. His were encoded from another source, apparently 2 crews were there that night and one crew were recording onto HD-DVD Bluray in 1000.1 surround sound. (one channel for each audience member).
All the OTHER sellers were recorded onto VHS-C long play, mono then in black and white, encoded onto an amiga then compressed into RM format then copied onto VHS-C super long play then played in the cinema just before 'The Mask' and converted back onto VHS from an audience VHS-C super super long play recording at 3fps.
You'll notice the diference because the GOOD quality recordings go for over £30.........

Isn't it now available on actual DVD, not bootlegged?
shareNope. But the bootleg I got off of ebay was pretty damn good I must say. I can't imagine it will be better even if they release it officially, since it was shot on video.
