Why The Low Rating?

I just finished watching this film on Hulu. I am really surprised at how much I enjoyed this film. But I'm even more surprised at the low rating. I read one review that pointed out that the movie got better with age because of the lowered standards of filming, but I still think a better rating is in order here.

Predictable, made for tv style garbage, not to mention the cheesy Sneider songs, absolutely unbearable. This was a time when tv people tried to become singers, people gobbled up that garbage.
