Did this hit theaters?

I believe it was supposed to be distributed theatrically but the distributor went out of business (there's a Video Watchdog article that mentions that this happened more once to Lommel). It ended up going to video through Embassy but was not one of their theatrical acquisitions since MGM doesn't now own it.
