i couldn't have been any older than 4 or 5 at the time but i think i vaguely remember this one. all i remember is a woman tied up about to be burned at the stake or something and all of a sudden these guys around her start dying. i think i remember a guy blowing up or his face melting. am i thinking of the same movie?
That was an incredible effect with the melting face! Definitely worth the time to watch it, and even better than Rick Baker's early work on The Incredible Melting Man. And what I love most is that they stayed on the face for about twenty seconds and even found a way to make the jawbone move! Very cool! And Suzanna was a vision in red hair with a great set of 'lungs.' Not quite as good as the deliriously cheesy delights of The Boogey Man but pretty close. There was a palpable feeling of uneasiness and dread. Nice work from a much-maligned director. By the way, for any fellow Ulli fans out there, Blank Generation is finally coming to DVD!
