never did get to see this

it sat on the shelves of my local newsagents when it was also a video hire shop (preedy's - god that takes me back - sorry i started remeniscing there) all through the 80s it was there but there was always something else for me to hire. so for one reason or another i was never desperate enough to rent it. anyway did i miss anything or was i right to leave it alone

I didn't like it, the only reason I own it is because it came as a double feature with The Boogeyman on DVD.

My head hurts, my teeth itch, my feet stink, and I don't love Jesus.

Wait..This is out on DVD? Where?

I saw part of it on TV. Its been at least 8 years. I think it was Sci-Fi Channel but i don't remember for sure.

reply

Indeed, it is out on DVD from Anchor Bay. It's a double feature with Lommel's The Boogeyman. It came out many years ago, and I believe it's OOP now.

As for the film itself, I love it. Easily the best thing Lommel has ever made, not that that's saying much. The atmosphere makes for perfect Halloween viewing too.

It seems like the kind of thing somebody could quietly add to Youtube (divided up into like 6 to 8 parts, depending how long the individual parts are) and the thought police wouldn't notice because the film is fairly obscure.

reply

You can find it for a nice price on Amazon. It's a good film, not great mind you.

Is this some kind of Harry Potter-speak?
