For some reason, I really love this movie. Had they maybe not packed all the action into the last 20 minutes and had the plot made a bit more sense, this would be a classic.
I love that cemetery scene though. And the corny music. And the southern Gothic atmosphere with scenes bordering on soap opera-esque at times. This is just a fun movie to watch.
i thought it was gonna be wack but it proved me wrong esp at the end not the best but not wack at all except for the long and boring carnival scene lol.

Yes I like this movie, it has some odd touches like the bodies floating in the river that nobody seems to notice. That must be some river too, it takes them up until the murder of the blonde to travel what, maybe a mile? I like the "end of summer" setting, usually kind of a sad time of the vacation year when friends are splitting up and going their separate ways, so you're usually in a quandry to come up with memorable things to do like stealing milk crates from supermarkets for making dorm shelves or something risky like that. Our state fair here is also held in the last week of August/first week of September and that's also a traditional thing to do as a crew. Some people harp on the carnival scenes but I kind of like them, it sort of reinforces that these lunkheads are "friends" doing one last summer fling. I also like how the story becomes all frantic during the final few minutes, my only complaint being that the girl selling the pies who gets the arrow and then suffocated is the hottest chick in the whole movie, I wish they'd put someone else in her role and given her one of the more substantial parts.
shareI really liked Jennifer Chases's character, Ramona, the most out of all the girls for some reason. Even moreso than Lily. Actually I found the acting in this movie too be not half as bad as some make it out to be.
shareI actually liked this one! It's really quirky. Like the opening is like any other slasher opening but different too. Can't explain it. Then the loud and powerful score .Loved that.
The film rushed a bit at the end but whatever. Totally underrated.
i love this one too. It just is a lot of fun for some reason. The artwork on the vhs's is sweet too.
If you like this movie the same crew and some of the actors did a earlier slasher called A Day of Judgment.
Its not as good but i still love it, the killer in it is really cool looking although hes only in it for a few minutes total
