no dvd release?

no dvd ? travesty.

reply

I agree.
I'm waiting for this and quackbusters and i'm terrified they'll both be lost to antiquity

reply

I agree. It's a shame, a terrible one. I hope someday there will be a dvd release of this extraordinay movie.

It is a travesty. As of today all of the major Looney Tunes films are available(Quackbusters announced for August), so let's keep hoping!

Alright you primitive screwheads, listen up!

Man, this is a disappointment. At least "1001 Rabbit Tales" has been given a DVD release, but I've really been wanting to see this one again as well. Poor Daffy Duck, always slighted.

I was recently going through a bunch of old vhs tapes in my closet, and found this gem on a tape. I had recorded it from HBO way back in the day. I watched it almost immediately, but it got me wishing that this would get the proper release it deserves! I was like 7 when this was released, and it was always one of my favorites growing up.

I remember watcing it as a kid too I loved it.... we had it recorded on Beta lol

I also still have this recorded off HBO onto a blank VHS tape. Until Encore Family aired it last month, and Netflix added it as a streaming option, the blank tape was the only way I could view it. It really is despicable that this hasn't been released on DVD yet (to quote Daffy). I'm hoping now that it's being made available again in other ways, that a DVD is soon to come. I can't think of one logical reason for it not to have happened yet. WB makes a lot of decisions like this. They're definitely not "pro customer". The way they handled the Looney Tunes Golden Collection is evidence of that.....

Used to have this on tape, but it got taped over accidentally. Really miss it, hope it comes out on DVD soon!

"Milo, I've told you again and again - please, don't walk on the chickens!"

reply

I agree. This should be on DVD soon. I already got the rest.

reply

Yeah, plus with the 2 versions of the opening. Yes, there was another version of the opening for Daffy's Fantastic Island. I saw it on the Russian release of it featuring the cameo of Sylvester and Tweety on it. Anyway, I wish they WOULD release it on DVD at least.

reply

I didn't know it wasn't available on DVD and I actually just bought it on laserdisc today. It only cost me 99 cents.
