really loved the atmosphere. also a great story. the insane asylum scenes were creepy

Yes the snowy setting was very atmospheric, I especially love the ice skating scene

That ice skating scene was killer in so many ways. This is a beautifully made film rich in nuance and atmosphere.

I enjoyed the film, too. I especially liked that creepy old lady mask. Whoever chose it was very wise. The '80s is the best decade for slasher movies.

Agreed. The story has more meat to it's bones than typical of the slasher sub-genre. Coupled with some decent acting, production values and tension building and you've got yourself a great little film.
