Hey I'm a huge Pink Panther fan, but I've never seen Curse of the Pink Panther. My question is if the Inspector dies in this one. I saw someone post about how can they make a new Pink Panther movie if he dies in one of them. and of course he is already dead by Son of the Pink Panther, but I didn't know if he actully died in this one. Anyone know?

The movie ends with Closeau becoming a Roger Moore lookalike (extremely horribly played by Roger Moore), and living the rest of his days with some female jewel thief, I don't remember who.
The rest of the world presumes him to be dead.
I love the Pink panther movies.
This movie is an utter disaster. I must never be relased on DVD, VHS or shown on TV again. Never. It only tarnishes the franchise and Closeau himself.
The sooner it is forgiotten, the better.

This movie wasn't that bad. I thought it was funny! Roger Moore was playing his part exactly as Inspector Clouseau would have been trying to act suave and deboiner as James Bond after his plastic surgery to look like Roger Moore. That's why he is acting "terribly", he's playing a caricature of James Bond or himself!

The scene that Dreyfus tried to get rid of Sleigh with an bozooka and having his wheelchair rolled over the cliff was one of the best parts of the picture. As for Moore as Clouseau, I though he was good. One last thing, to Drefyus at least Clouseau was indead dead. Eventhough he was with Joanna Lumley's character Chandra when Sleigh left.
