Anyone know if its obvious to see or which scenes used the mechanical dog, rottweiler, and guy in a dog suit? I think I could tell some scenes but its been awhile since I've seen this film.

I did notice some of the scenes where the rottwieler was used and one scene where its obvious during an attack Cujo's otherwise wagging "happy" tail is tied to his leg.
"Lemme at 'em! I'll splat 'em!"
I have a book called "Stephen King at the Movies" by Jessie Horsting. In the Cujo section there is a picture during the fight with Donna where her head and upper back are on the hood of the car and Cujo is on top of her. That dog looks like a suit.
In the behind the scenes feature it says they wanted to put a labrador in a St. Bernard suit in the scene in the fog but it didn't look right so they scrapped it. I think there is no other breed in the movie's final cut.
As for teh mechanical one, I don't know.
