Yes, Danny Pintauro and Dee Wallace both gave incredible performances in this movie. I felt so sorry for their characters. It was as though I was really seeing these events happen right before my eyes, their performances were that convincing.

This is why I don't think, were I a director, that I could do horror like this. Because I don't think I could stand having actors act out such horrific scenes, especially little kids who don't fully understand. It's all acting, but I just don't think I myself could take it lol

Yeah, SO convincing that all that fucking screaming in the first attack scene made me seriously wish the dog could just kill the whiny brat just to end the noise.

He did a good job.

The kid looked like that kid on Who's the Boss too

The Kid in the movie DOCTOR SLEEP during the torture scene played that role pretty well?? I read where they had to shoot that scene some ridiculous amount of times because the Cast were against the torture of a child and became very emotional because of it, however the kid loved it and was laughing about it after it was over??

I'm pretty sure the actor was genuinely terrified. That huge dog pawing at the windows really got to him, and the director just took advantage.
