So bad thats its..

Yes...a very bad dated film...being from that generation I knew what Jerry was trying to achieve
. Likr so many others that were able yo get away with it ..like the Cohen Brothers ..Monty Python ....the list is endless ....no CGI or special effects here ....anyway...if you never saw Jerry Lewis before, you get a little of some of the characters from all his movies....but its fun groaning at some of the bad scenes with company .......and once again..try to look past the count and graphic violence.

Don't agree. While some of the film falls flat, is sometimes choppy and has some groans, the opening sequence is just absolutely brilliant, classic slapstick comedy, so it's not very bad at all.

There are two kinds of people in the world, those who like Jerry and think his antics are funny, and those who don't. I just found this movie on DVD, after not having seen it for some thirteen years. I was ecstatic. It's still just as funny to me as it was when I first saw it on HBO in my teens. It's all dumb, broad, predictable slapstick humor, of course--like when Jerry is fiddling with that M&M's bag in the shrink's office, you know exactly what's going to happen, but it's no less funny when it does. I happen to be a sucker for dumb, broad, predictable slapstick. I just wish my dad was still around, because he loved this movie too. We could've enjoyed it together one last time.
