Harvey Keitel had this second apartment with this other guy-were they gay lovers and that was there love nest? Is that why he killed himself at the end because he knew the facade was up?

Well acted movie from the eighties that I never heard of but was on tv and decided to give it a try. The music got on my nerves at first but by the end it really fit into the picture.

The more I think about this film and connect the dots the more things come together. The editing was not very good for this film but that was typical for 80's films.

Still a decent film if on tv.

Spot on...check out the book Harvey Keitel Movie Top Ten it has interesting essays on the film.

Your reading was the same as mine about Harvey Keitel's character being gay. It's also touched upon later in the film when he talks (or, rather, avoids talking) to the officer's widow.

I also gave this 6/10, though I'd reserve the right to upgrade my vote if I can ever see a better copy. The bad picture, muddy sound a choppy editing took this film down a couple notches in my book.
