John lydon is a revelation!

what a terrific debut from lydon,he totally holds his own against pro keitel,i was really impressed. its a real shame he didnt do any more acting work after this. its also a shame the dvd is such a bad transfer. hopefully it will get shown on tv at some point.

I agree with you. Lydon said he didn't like the acting process of waiting on set shaking with nerves just to do a few minutes work.

I was likewise very impressed with John Lydon the actor – much more than with Johnny Rotten the singer. He works well with Harvey Keitel here.

It's on THIS TV right now, here in the future. Not a very interesting movie. And, surprise surprise, Lydon had nothing but contempt for acting.

This will be the high point of my day; it's all downhill from here.

It's an uneven performance. He's better in the scenes where he can be quiet and play off Keitel, but in the scenes where he has to shout and provide the energy, it doesn't really work...

Definitely not the worst musician-turned-actor performance out there, though!
