CORRUPT - In all senses of the word.

The DVD copy I picked up is simply called 'Corrupt'. Using a picture of Keitel from Reservoir Dogs and some snap of John Lydon from Hit Parade or something? I had to buy it just to see if it was legit or not, and it's actually a fairly decent film. Story wise, I was often wondering 'why doesn't he do this? And why doesn't she do that? And WTF is going on now?' But the tension that builds up between O'Conner and this Leo kid is compelling to see it through to the end. John Lydon I was really impressed with. As his character starts off weak and meandering. Thinking to myself 'any pop star could do this role.' at first. But I agree, he was brilliantly cast as the movie goes on. It's too bad that this movie goes by so many titles. Much like Bong Joon Ho's 'The Host', which is getting smothered by so much other crap with the same title. I think 'Corrupt' is an apt title for this film. Be you a die hard fan of Bad Lieutenant, Harvey Keitel, John Lydon or all of the above, this movie should be in your collection then.
