shame on you Fulci, you were clearly watching a certain Mr. Lucas Space Opus before you attempted this shoddy piece of epic cinema. The rock people, or should we say Tuskan raiders, the Darth Vader creation, SHAME ON YOU. I don't like to shaming the dead, but I find this inept filmmaking.

This is a huge rip off of Conan not Star Wars.
I think this movie rules even if it is a "Star Wars" rip-off. In fact, I think it's infinitely better than "Star Wars." Was Darth Vader played by a really hot chick in a gold mask who's almost completely nude except for a g-string? No. Did Chewbacca and his furry friends ever tear a haplass lass in two, breaking the poor screaming woman into two separate halves like a giant wishbone? Again no. Did "Star Wars" have surprise guest appearances by a tribe of mud people, cobweb-covered cave creeps, and, best of all, some ornery swamp zombies? Once again definitely not. And Claudio Simonetti's rippin', hard-rockin' score is ten times more smokin' and stirring than the John Williams music for "Star Wars."
I just watched Conquest for the first time today, and it *ROCKED MY WORLD* for the entire running time!!! Without a doubt, it's the most ridiculously stupid, utterly chaotic, insanely surrealistic and altogether 100% entertaining barbarian movie ever made! My best friend and i literally laughed until the tears streamed and our stomachs and faces were in pain. This movie receives a hearty 10 out of 10 from me!!!

I actually almost turned Conquest off after 15 minutes but I decided to give it more time since it was Fulci and I am glad that I finished it. I really had a good time watching this film, Fulci delivers once again.
