Tchaikovsky's Romeo and Juliet


I think Bob Clark used Tchaikovsky's overture rather poorly in that daydream, given that the love theme in the piece is about burning, painful love. It seemed odd the way it was used for the tone that it was going for. Then again, the whole movie plays out as his surrealistic, Twin Peaks esque version of a 50s/60s town during Christmas, so I can let it slide

There was only one "timeline": 1940. No blending occurred.
