Horsey flick with unrealistic race scene

Film is OK Hurt is good as he usually is, remarkable recovery to win the GN within 2 years of cancer - but the scene at the end is so unrealistic! A long long way out from home still, Champion is going neck & neck & it is far from decided, it shows his friends & family laughing & joyously carrying on while watching in on TV. NO WAY, they'd be sitting there nervously biting their fingernails up to the elbows, for sure! And right at the point coming to the finish line & it's very close between the two horses, the trainer (Woodward) would not have turned his back & walked off at that precise moment before the victory. His eyes would have fixed on the race until it was decided.
