I just got done watching this movie for the very first time. I must say it was every bit as fun as I figured it would be.
But I almost did a Danny Thomas double spit take when Nita Talbot showed up with 15 minutes to go. That was definitely the cherry on top for me. I love Nita Talbot. She has her very own style of humor and I am well suited for it!
Finally Mr. H, you have seen Chained Heat-83'. What a legend you are my good man. It is one of the best 80's, chicks in chains flicks. The Naked Cage-86', is a goody too. Of course you don't have to be told how awesome Reform School Girls-86' is. 😁

Yes, Chained Heat was a lot of fun. It's kind of hard to believe that I saw it for the first just now. I guess I missed it's initial go around on cable. But it was a hoot. A jacuzzi in the warden's office? And a yummy cast. Big Rosie Greenbaum with a razor blade? That was too much. I never imagined Stella Stevens could ham it up! I pretty much like Linda Blair in anything and of course Nita Talbot bringing up the rear. Nita got the film's best delivered line. There's a prison riot and the camera cuts straight to her and she's on the phone and, slightly exasperated, she says "They've taken over half the prison." It was all how she said it, and her energy level. And there was just a bit of Eileen Brennan's Captain Lewis in there. I rewound it four times and got the day's best laugh.
shareI don't recall much about Talbot and don't really know who she is. I must rewatch. Talbot is in The Concrete Jungle-82' from the year before as well. That one is ok, but they were trying to be serious and or well-intentioned at the very least and I find it quite weak or doesn't work in parts. It also isn't as exploitative as Chained Heat.

Hellhole-85'. This one has Mary Woronov in it and is a hoot. It is set in a mental asylum.

I prefer ''Concrete Jungle''. ''Vendetta'' is very well made, and acted, but the ending is pretty sad, and, fairly ''deep'' for an exploitation film. ''Naked Cage'' is ridiculous, (but fun). I saw ''Hellhole'' in a theater when it was first released. Meh....
