'Hold me Logan, hold me'

How humiliating for Vanessa.
This scene really sticks in my mind, the children mocking her but only P.S really knowing what it was all about.

Yes, incredibly cruel on his part, little bastard. I wonder whether a boy of that age could really conceive of and organize such an abstract display of malice, unless he was some sort of sadistic prodigy. At that point in the film I really began to feel sympathy for Vanessa. She should have consigned the evil rat child to a kinderstalag somewhere hidden in the Outback.

Harsh. If you are serious, I hope you don't procreate. The kid was only 7 years old. And he was justifiably ticked off for being kept away from the people he loved the most (Lyla, George and his father). Living with Vanessa would drive anyone a little batty. She wanted to keep him all to herself like a little doll. Vanessa was lonely and wanted P.S. to be lonely with her... for the rest of his life. She creeps me out.

The most memorable scene to me is when they are tugging on his little arms, and P.S. has to run to the bushes to get sick. It shows how much the fighting over his custody is upsetting him. He's not evil. He's just a little kid that wants a normal life.

You forget that, in the movie, when P.S. first spent the night at Vanessa's, she abused him sexually and was whispering "Hold me, Logan, hold me".
P.S. was an innocent.

If you're able to find a copy, I would suggest reading the book. You get to learn much more about Dear One (Sinden) and all of the characters. Plus, it's just a fascinating novel.

Being seven years old is no excuse for sadism. But actually I was kidding, keeb. You take this all far too seriously. If you are really that stupid, I hope you don't procreate (but if you are really that stupid, you probably already have).

Hating me will probably make you feel better about yourself. Go ahead, enjoy. I don't care.

They left out in Parents Guide MPAA and this movie should have been rated R or NC-17 because of that filthy scene. They should have put a lady is sexually abusing a young boy.
