Most fantastic Film EVER MADE!!!

Come on you Brits, where are you. This is the best film that was ever made by Handmade Films. It shows how us brits are good at laughing at ourselves it a very funny way.

If you haven't seen this film then you MUST!!

When is it coming out on DVD?

Rosemary Fenton "That spider bit you didn't it?"
Bullshot Crummond "Probably"
Rosemary Fenton "But it's bite is fatal!"
Bullshot Crummond "Probably"
Rosemary Fenton "It would kill the average man in seconds"
Bullshot Crummond "I'M NOT AVERAGE!!"

Hell! I've almost forgotten this movie. I haven't seen it for about 13-14 years. I was reading up on Mel Smith when I fell over the title. It started laughing. It all came back to me. Damn that movie was funny! Would I still find it funny? Judging from your qoute - I will. Do you know if it is at all possible to buy it on dvd somewhere? Or will I have to keep my fingers crossed that danish tv will show it sometime soon hehe.
Well that was a nice stroll down memory lane. Take care :-)

P.S. Do I remember correctly - was there not something with a giant octopus?

Hi,

Glad to hear I'm not alone in the world of Bullshot. I think if you found it funny before, you will still find it funny now. I can watch it over and over and never get bored, especially the speech when he gets bitten by the spider.

I've found there are usually several copies on DVD for sale on ebay, albeit a bit pricy, I think it would be worth it. I finally got it second hand on video so haven't bought the DVD, so I can't vouch for their quality.

And yes there was a giant octopus.

Bullshot:- I can't control this thing between my legs!
Rosemary:- It's all rubbery and slimy ... and it's soooooo big!

Classic!!

If you just turn the knob marked "colour" on your TV-set all the way down, you get your wish :)

Good news for you ... I was walking through Føtex a couple of days ago and to my great surprise I found the DVD version in the 'cheap' DVD section. DKK30,- and its yours (while stocks last!)

Off to fotex I will go :-)

I live near Norreport Station I Cph. Was it a Fotex that?

Thanx.

Bager.

Hi Bager -

Sorry, my mistake - it was actually Bilka not Føtex. I bought it in Ishøj but I'm sure the other shops (Bilka) also have it.

I hope you get a hold of a copy.

All the best,
Chris

Love this film. My favourite bits:

- Crummond working out the bullet trajectory
- Crummond sliding down the bannister and his agonized face appearing at the botom of the screen
- Crummond and Dobbs trying to get rid of their scones
- Crouch's excitement when told to fetch the body from the car
