Can anyone help me out?
I have been trying to find a copy of this film for years. From what I have found, it has never been released, on video or DVD. This makes it rather hard I guess, but a 16mm version would be just as good. If anyone who owns the distribution rights happens to read this, please, please, please release it - I will be forever greatful. Thanks:)
I have a pretty ordinary VHS copy from when it screened on MVQ6 (pre-1988). ....Currently cutting this into DVD form with the help of modern technology.
But, just like you I am still looking for an orginal - so no sueing me for making an 'ileegal' copy ... Damn, fine peice of Australian movie...

I too have a copy taped off TV from about 1990 - and have transferred it to DVD. It's watchable, but would much rather a real copy...
i am in desperate need for a copy of buddies i dont care if its *beep* just provided its watchable i would be greatful if u could help me out and pay any costs required

arch nicholson is incredible. especially after seeing dark age and fortress. i'd be interested in paying a considerate amount of money for a vhs / dvd copy (im also from australia).
