I love this film, and I'd buy a special edition. This film deserves some recognition. If it's true that Tarantino loves the film, maybe he could do a short intro. Maybe he could even put "Quentin Tarantino Presents" over the title.
Certianly, Breathless exerted an influence over True Romance. Breathless was ahead of its time.

I think a widescreen edition would be enough of a special edition for this movie, considering the crime of the last DVD was that it was not in widescreen. It wasn't even an option. But a special edition would be nice. At least a commentary track would be great. MGM did do some great re-releases of some of their other films like Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, Roadhouse, Invasion of The Body Snatchers, and Return of The Living dead
