Murphy replies "coulda used something"
They had gunship hueys & cobras.
What did the govt. have in mind to use this in, THOR? I mean you got 20mm cannon on a chopper. Not the best round of taking out individual targets.
Ever notice is some scenes the rounds are coming from the center of the cannon.

I dont think Murphy was just talking about the cannon. He was talking about all of Blue Thunder's capabilities being useful in Nam.
