Still holds up today


Which is rather surprising, as most made-for-TV movies from the 1970s and 80s don't. Blake is very intense. Until now, I hadn't seen this movie since it was first run; I'd forgotten how good he was in it. Much better than Nicholson's "Hoffa" and Sly's "F.I.S.T." Actually makes you a bit sympathetic for Hoffa, even though you know he was a dirty dealer. Blake was nominated for an Emmy for this role; he should've won.
