I have just bought the Retro shock-o -rama DVD release rated R and it seems to me that certain scenes are cut, particularly rape scenes and bullet hits. Anybody know if there is definitely an uncut version available??

HOPE THIS HELPS YOU FIND THE DVD YOU ARE LOOKING FOR:
The R rated version is cut by about 5 to 6 minutes of footage.
Also the Uncut DVD is missing a line of dialogue (about 1 minute).
But does contain all the sex and violence cut out of the R rated version.
There is a Uncut DVD version by Retro shock-o-rama, it has a Blue sticker on the cover that says UNCUT and and also says Uncut on the spine.
Also there is a double feature DVD by Retro shock-o-rama that contains
Women's Prison Massacre Uncut and Caged Women as a bonus.

YES:
Most of the Emanuelle films have several titles/names for each movie as they were marketed in many countries.
Plus most of any women's prison pictures have been released and re-released on video, then DVD, by many other names to confuse the hell out of people looking for works in the genre, to trick them into buying and/or renting them again.
One of the tricks is to look at the names starring in them, but that doesn't work with every one of them, such as Gemser who was in two of them made pretty much back to back, along with Lina Romay, who was also in several. I believe there are a couple more from the seventies with Roberta Brown (IIRC).
One good entry in the genre is Femme En Fuego, aka Women in Fury, with Suzanne Carvalho. Since the lovely Ms. Carvalho was only in two pictures that I know of (the other being the equally cheezy "Massacre in Dinosaur Valley" both shot in Brazil), you're likely going to be able to recognize this one.
Don't forget the "fun" ones, too, the ones that might have been made by Tarantino -- like Reform School Girls, with girls who look a bit older than your typical reform school residents, which is pretty much an homage to WiP pix.

My version is called Emmanunelle In Prison. It seems that all violence/nudity/gore is left intact but it uses an alternate ending instead of the montage, it is only 85 minutes. How long is the Us Uncut dvd version?
