In the very opening scene we see Kevin bathing two boys in a bathtub. I may have missed this but these are his children? With Glenn Close? But then, what happens with them after that scene? We never see them again. As I said, I may have missed a scene that explains.

But yes - the other poster is right, they have 2 homes ... I think there's a line that Harold says to one of the friends that goes "Sarah and I were up at the Richmond House with the kids" and it seems Alex and Chloe were staying at the big house they held the funeral gathering at. Remember, Harold takes Michael to the cabin Alex was fixing up - not far from the big house - for Chloe and himself, before he passed.
