What is with the music score?

Annoying music playing constantly in this film from beginning to end. And the music does not appear to have anything to do with what is happening on the screen. It's as if someone just a ran a CD of music in the background while the movie was playing. This movie is not very good anyway, but the music score is annoying as HELL.
