Bad Boys was on TV! (Yes, THIS 'Bad Boys'!)

I know how disappointed many of us on here are when we're flicking through the cable stations and see "Bad Boys" listed, only to find out that it's not THIS "Bad Boys", but the 1990's film of the same name.

Imagine my surprise when I noticed that Spike Tv was running THIS "Bad Boys" in the afternoon yesterday (Saturday February 24 2007).

I was going to put a post on here about it, but there wasn't really enough time.

Hopefully Spike has picked up the rights to it and they'll run it a few more times, so keep an eye on your cable guide if you get that channel.

Yeah, i saw this movie for the first time on Spike. It's a really good movie, i enjoyed it. Although, i never did manage to see the ending...Sadly.

Hey, I found out about this movie because I saw it on Starz. It was the scene where Mick's face was all beaten up and scabbed at the lunch table that drew me to it.

I think I would've soiled myself. I've gone through this same ritual ever since I got Direct TV in 2001 - I'll bring up the channel guide, scan through it looking for anything remotely entertaining and am always (well used to be) excited when I would see "Bad Boys" - only to find out it's that Matin Lawrence/Will Smith garbage or whoever it is. This has continued regularly for 6 or 7 years. Not once since I've had the dish have I seen "the real" Bad Boys. I had begun to assume it was never going to air again until I read your post.

ha the contrary happened to me, I was ready to see that 90's Porsche turbo, the SHOX channel discription even said Will Smith and Marten Lawrence, but I am glad it was this movie instead, It was pretty good.

Forget Spike TV's edited version!

Bad Boys was shown on Showtime Extreme tonight! (check this month's schedule on your program guide line-up.) It is set to run again at 1:55 AM (CST) on Showtime Extreme West today, July 5, 2007 That's about a half hour from now!

Check the schedule! This is the first time that I have seen the uncut version of this film since around 1985 when I had HBO! The standard cable versions are horribly edited and time compressed. Even the first release DVD was cut. But now the full 2hr, 3 min version is available uncut on Showtime Extreme and DVD!

IFC showed it 2-7-13.
They show movies unedited, but with commercial breaks.
One commercial break seemed weird though.
When Mick visits Horowitz in his hospital bed, does the scene end with Mick saying 'Yeah,' and then cut immediately to the guy in the tunnel going to tell Mick about Paco coming?

Like the original poster said, it bugs me when its the other Bad Boys movie instead of the good one with Sean Penn.

This TV will be showing Bad Boys this Friday Night!

Run time is 2:30 with commercials, so it will probably be the original 2:03 version with TV cuts for language and nudity.

Hehe, watched it last night while working on my daughter's Halloween tutu!

Maybe THIS (26.5) will show Bad Boys again...they do that with a lot of their movies
