Anyway, I just watched the movie (Phoebe was the reason) and it was a lot better than I expected. Everyone put a very convincing performance. Congratulations to the actors.
Yes, the focus on adolescent emotional fragility is great in this movie, without exaggeration. Beside Phoebe renders this very well.
Yeah, actually this is a very solid movie all around... except for the music. UGH!!!!! The love scenes were mighty weak, too, but this is a drama, not a porno, so really, who cares? They got the point across.
I can only give this a 6, due to actually grabbing my head in pain when the songs came on. They really are that bad. Aside from that this movie would have been a 7.

Phoebe's films are the equivalent of visual viagra. Beautiful woman! I'm now on the hunt for the film, Shag 1989.

As for the affair in this film, they don't show anything other than some very tame kissing so a few times I was like... yeah better stop kissing before the sister finds out...
