A must-see for any sword and shield fans

I really enjoyed this movie and I am surprised by all the poor reviews. The music and scenery were great. Many of the actors were accomplished and played their parts well. I thought the costumes looked good but a few of the weapons looked like they were made in shop class. The spider special effects don't really hold up too well when viewed on a HDTV but they were okay for that time period. I'd like to see the sequels but it sounds like this film was the high point of the series.
