Typical 3-D effects...

Back in the good old days of the 80's... 3-D was becoming a fad, and 70% of the third installment of movies were in 3-D....Friday the 13th, Amityville, Jaw's 3...etc....except of course for Nightmare on Elm Street where the fifth was in 3-D at the last 30 min. of the movie..

Most of those were based on tossing things at us and giving us the effect that it was headed streight to us...

Here's the list of those in Amityvlle 3-D.....

- Elliote pointing the lite lighter towards the camera.
- Fly swarming towards the camera to you at the begining.
- Fly in the room flying towards you.
- Sanders reaching out to you when he's dying.
- Melanie aiming the flashlight in your face.
- Metal tube crashing through the windshield towards you.
- Melanie reaching out to you in skelletal form.
- Elliote aiming the camera towards you.
- Glass used in ouija board flings towards you in camera.
- Frisbee tossed towards the camera.
- Zombie Susan coming out of well towards you. (actually disgusting and gross)
- Microsonic dudade aimed at you.
- Microphone aimed towards you several times during the investigation.
- Demon blowing fire at you.
- Swordish flying streight at you.
- Shards of glass flying towards you.
- Fly swarming out of the boiling pit at the end.

That's all I can remember (actually watching the movie while typing this..héhé)

Remember people, if you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything....

Just my opinion but I think 3D movies should have those hoky in your face tricks.

Not meaning to be rude, but it was actually the sixth Nightmare on Elm Street that a portion of the film was in 3D. 3D was popular in the '50s with films like Creature From the Black Lagoon, House of Wax, and The Robot Monster, then it was popular again in the '80s, and as everyone knows up until maybe a year or so ago every single movie released after Avatar was in 3D. I bet in about 20 years or so we'll see it all over again.

I've been waiting for you, Ben.
