Djordjevic is a Serbian name so Stef was probably of Serbian descent. Some people lump Eastern European nationalities together. So that makes Stef a "Polack". I am of Lithuanian descent so that also makes me a "Polack".
Pretty much the only part of Coach Nickerson throughout the entire film until his guilt gets the better of him in the end. That speech does get my blood going though.

Will have to disagree with you on that speech. Hearing "n***er" is not inspiring to any Black person. I would think it would be the opposite actually, a total mental distraction.

I agree about racial slurs. But it might be a little different in the context of a football locker room.
