Why didn't Bosko and his 40+ thugs target Salvucci's house also?

After all he was the one who FUMBLED the ball and cost the team the game.

You would think that alot of the towns people would also be making him "public enemy #1"?

I have another question; if Steph's brother got laid-off, why was he working with Steph near the end of the film?

reply

because they weren't working at the steel mill. they were working at the temp job tearing down the old blast furnace. they were dropped off at the steel mill (jumped off the back of the truck) where they met up with their father (probably so they could get a ride home).

Greg wasn't working at his regular job. He was on a pick-up crew hired to demolish the mill. Stef was hired for the same pick-up crew. His Dad pulled some strings to get him hired.

Bosko and his crew knew the Salvuccis were thugs and not to be messed with.

They had heard about Salvuccis desk lifting skills and chose to give him a pass

Some of these answers have my busting a gut laughing....Very clever.

Honestly, I think the adults felt the blame could not be placed on a kid who was just doing what he was told to do....After all, the kid admitted earlier in the movie that he would not even be playing if the starting back had not gone down with an injury. For this reason, when you have your reserve TB in the game and it's a freakin downpour, the obvious thing would be to keep the ball in the hands of your trusted QB knowing that even if he gives up safety, they still win.

Unlike you are a major a-hole, most adults will place blame on other adults, because the decision maker naturally bares the responsibility.
