Just bad, not funny and bad, but stunningly bad

Worst Italian film I have watched

While the director acknowledges in the extra material interview that it is a rip off of MdMax and Escape From New York, it fails to have any credbility due not only to the non-acting taking place in front of camera but the ridiculous plot.

There are 4 gangs - seems you join up based on whatever your favourite movie from the late 70s was!

Fulci's Zombi 2 (Zombie Felsheaters) - The Zombies ; paint your face grey , walk barefoot wearing only a kind of decaying falling apart shround. Jump a lot! Largely unarmed

Rollerball - mince around on roller skates and wussy NFL looking Dynasty shoulder pads and white "Jerry" helmet - weapon of choice? Hockey sticks of course - beat guns any time.........

A Clockwork Orange - Dress a bit more like Liza Minelli in Cabaret than Alex, paint over your eyes, wear abowler, and mince, pirouette and tao dance towrds your target. Have secretly concealed grand piano player for musical accompaniment and an off camera tap dancer to tap eight times when you take each step and a half. Weapon of choice? A kind of majorette's baton. But a sharpish one. Watch yourself!

The Warriors - these are the lot you're supposed to root for.Or just root...... Weapon of choice? Seems to be purchasing power, got a job lot on costumes left over from The Wariors.

Joke's on me though....I both the trilogy on spec! heading for ebaY with 2 still in shrink wrap!

Indeed. It's jaw droppingly bad. I remember renting it on video as a youngster in the 80s and it's one of the few films at the time that I gave up on.

Saw it again recently and managed to sit through it all, mainly because it's unintentionally funny and very, very camp. I pondered how or why movies like this ever get made. But then it must have been relatively successful as a sequel was made.

I also was a youngster in the 80s when I first saw this stinker on video. I agree, it is just terrible! And I'm a fan of trashy cinema. I recently watched it again for the first time in nearly 30 years, just to see if maybe my opinion might change. But no, it is just as crummy as I remember it. Bad acting, poor dialogue, and a silly plot. However, it serves as an interesting time capsule that captures the extreme urban decay that the Bronx was going through at the time.

It's brilliant!
I Don't know what film you watched, but this is an absolutely fine, watchable movie.
Maybe not Citizen Kane, but if you think this is the worst movie ever made, then I envy you, as there are so many worse movies out there.
