Lots of things didn't make sense.

Other than Trash not being able to walk or move like a normal human being.

When Trash decides that he needs to meet The Ogre, he takes only 2 men with him and goes on foot via undergrounds full of dangerous scavengers. The movie starts with the Ogre visiting Trash's gang with a bunch of cars. So obviously there are roads between the Riders' territory and The Ogre. Why not ride there?

Ice gives Trash's pointy stick to Hammer, even though Trash obviously had it when he left with his 2 men earlier.

The Ogre agrees to help Trash take down the zombies. He goes alone with his second in command/girlfriend back thru the same underground. He is the King of the Bronx and has men armed with guns as well as cars. Again, why didn't he ride there and bring his army with him?
