Ted Bundy vs 10 to Midnight

Great film, with Bronson giving one of his better performances. I also noticed that the killer drives a volkswagon just like the real life serial killer Ted Bundy did. I think 10 to Midnight would be in Bronson's top 5 best films. By the way, does anyone out there know why the film is called 10 to Midnight. I mean, what relevance does the title bare to the actual film.

The title is confusing, but my best guess is the 1st time Warren struck, the police think it was done between 10 and midnight.

I noticed when Warren sneaks out of the movie, it is dark outside, but when he arrives in the woods it looks like the sun is setting. The moment he returns, it is dark again, so who knows.

I didn't really 'get' the title 10 to Midning, either. Anyway, great film. Definitely one of Bronson's best. Great performance by Gene Davis, too!

Per Wikipedia (and, knowing Cannon films, this doesn't sound too off the mark):

"10 to Midnight uses a screenplay originally named Bloody Sunday. According to producer Pancho Kohner, Cannon Films chairman Menahem Golan and Kohner named the film 10 to Midnight despite having no connection to the plot.

Golan and Kohner had intended to film an adaptation of the R. Lance Hill novel The Evil That Men Do, which fell through before an upcoming visit to the Cannes Film Festival. Golan and Kohner agreed to market a different film with Charles Bronson as its star, using 10 to Midnight as its working title."

It is an intriguing title, but I spent most of the film thinking there would be some clue about something happening at 11:50 p.m.

Interestingly, in 1976 Charles Bronson made a film titled "From Noon Till 3." I don't know whether that title's relevant because that film is out of print.

That's the first thing I thought of when I first heard the title back when the movie first came out - that it was similar to the title of one of Bronson's earlier films.

Of course that 'other' film was quite different from this - lol - to say the least...

Have you actually seen "From Noon to Three"? I'd love to track that down, but it's very hard to find. It's not on DVD, and used VHS versions start at $58 on Amazon.com.
