I would like to know about the song the yellow rose of texas on the Yellow Rose movie series in 1983 who singed it, it was a duet? And/or maybe where i can buy the series please any info would be nice?

However, the words on that version were changed from the original Mitch Miller recording in the mid-1950s. I know Mitch's version was a revival of an old song but for some reason, I've never liked the lyrics in this newer recording.
