Where are the cast members now...

The Yellow Rose was my favorite show of all time.

Anybody out there who liked the Yellow Rose and would like to talk about where the stars from that wonderful show are?? Granted a few are deceased: Chuck Connors, Ken Curtis, Noah Berry Jr. and Edward Albert (taken from us way too soon from cancer).

I've continued to follow the career of Tom Schanley, Cybill Shepherd, David Soul and Sam Elliott because of THE YELLOW ROSE.

Anybody who wants to reminisce - feel free to comment.

Tom Schanley is the one that I've followed the most. The Yellow Rose was his first job and today is he an accomplished actor, writer and producer.

I was really excited to see Deborah Shelton on this show. For many years she did commercials for various radio stations in my home state of Michigan and I thought she was so beautiful. Then of course she went on to Dallas. It was odd though how her Yellow Rose character just disappeared without a mention.

Since I have the entire series on tape, I know that her character was mentioned in the episodes surrounding her father getting shot. She had decided that she couldn't pick between her father Jeb Hollister and her feelings for Roy Champion as they were such rivals. When Jeb gave Roy an offer he couldn't refuse and he did, Juliette (D.S.'s character)decided that she needed time away from both men and headed off to take a correspondent's job in Paris.

I got the complete series on DVD not too long ago and watched the whole thing in less than a week. Enjoyed seeing it again, but I had forgotten how the last several episodes were more or less self-contained than continuing storylines. And I did catch the Juliette reference about the job in one of the episodes. I wish there had been a mention of Caryn Cabrera after she was gone. I mean, did anyone ever discover what Jeb had done to her?

Sorry that this response is so late, I haven't checked this board in a long time. As far as I know Robin Wright only appeared in one episode.
