Where did the show film?

I know there's probably an answer to this somewhere, but I haven't been able to find it. Where did "The Yellow Rose" actually film? And is there any website anywhere with more information about it? Thank you!

It looks somewhat like Texas but more of a fake Texas. Probably California.

The house scenes were filmed at The Mission Bell Ranch in Lancaster, Calif.

We were caretakers there in the mid 90's. The bunkhouse was actually the caretaker's house.

Beautiful old Spanish Mission home that was a favorite "get away" spot for Hollywood stars in the 30's and 40's. In fact in the years we were there I saw and heard some of those long dead people.

Filmed all over in Los Angeles. I have met David Soul on the set back in '82-'83 when I was about 11 while they were filming in back of a pool hall on the corner of Main/Daly (90031). There were people snapping pictures at the time and had caught me chatting with him about "Starsky & Hutch". The pics' floating somewhere out there and I'm trying to find it. Yeah, he was a real geniune person and spent a good amount of time chatting with a kid like me. People actually thought I was from the show too. I remembered he's got the worst autograph signature, it was worst than chicken scratch.
