I remember this first miniseries as being pretty damn good.

I have to check it out again and see if it holds up or if it was just being a little kid that made it seem so good at the time.

I saw it a couple years ago and the special effects are a bit dated but other than that I thought it held up really well.

I own it on Vudu and re-watched both mini-series a couple of weeks ago. Let me tell you, if you turn it off 10-15 minutes before the end with the StarChild and the disco music ending? It's still a good time.

Man, that kid is an annoying subplot.....

Yeah, I've never been a fan of the mystic kid saves the day plots.

Also, I do remember Jane Badler changed her hair for the better in the second miniseries and became insanely hot.

I used to watch the original series in the 80s and have fond memories of it, never seen the newer ones though. Might watch the old ones again sometime.
