The "Thorn Birds" author has just passed away. May she rests in peace.

A terrific, gifted storyteller. She loathed the miniseries, by the way. One of the obits quotes her as calling it "instant vomit."

In my case, self-absorption is completely justified.

I love reading interviews with her sharp outspokenness. McCullough was a character herself. She publicly despised and hated the miniseries.
