will Votoms be on TV agian?
I remember watching Votoms on International Channel it was a awesome classic mech series even though I didn't watch all the episodes it would be nice if Votoms would air agian on I-channel

Pretty much stuck with tracking down the centralpark media DVD set, or downloading pirate fansubs of it through bittorrent. Also, the first OAV (Original Animation Video = Released Directly to Video) sequel to the original series, "Votoms: The Last Red Shoulder" circa, 1985 has shown up on bittorrent as a VHS-rip fansub. Haven't been able to find any of the later OAV's so far though.
But, Bandai Japan seems to have bought rights to produce Votoms merchandise, from Sunrise, Imai & Takara. And have started putting out newly tooled 1/20th scale models of the mechs from the series as part of the MasterGrade (MG) model series. And some other model company is producing neat little 1/144th scale votoms kits, including a transport truck with 3 scopedogs. Pics of these have shown up in coverage of this year's (2007) Shizouka Hobby Show in Japan.
All of that, and rumors that the Votoms series is being redone, and the new version is supposed to air in Japan this year or next year. Hopefully the remake is being redone by the original director, Ryosuke Takahashi. Maybe with his success with Gasaraki and Blue Gender, he's gotten the clout to push for Votoms to be reanimated using the current technology available to the anime industry.
If they do a good job of keeping the look of the Armored Troopers, would be cool to see them more fully animated, like the mechs in Gasaraki or the mechs in the Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex and 2nd Gig TV series.
