Classics! I love them.

I can learn a lot form them.

"Ms. Nelson is Back" was cool because when I was 2, 3 or 4 I was wowed when make-up artist Tom Burman turned Levar into a Mongul/Hun sort of character. It still wows me today. It also inspired me to get creative.

I almost forgot my all time favorite......"My Little Island!" And to think, that whole island of Montserrat is almost covered up by a volcano now. I always wanted to go there but I guess not now huh!

Had to respond to your post because of your choice "Gila Monsters Meet You at the Airport"! I work in a high school and one of my kids today asked me what lizards in the desert have a little dangly thing under their neck and I instantly responded "Gila monsters!" He asked how in the world I knew what he was thinking...and I said "Reading Rainbow"!!!!!!!!! haha So I had to share. The kids were laughing at me, but I told them, most of the basis of my education is from that show...you should watch it! :)

I don't remember the book aspects too much, but I remember some of my favorite things they did.

MAKING PITAS -- I alwaysss wanted pitas after they made them for a party one time. They talked about how easy they were, and how it was fun if there were a lot of stuffings/toppings/foods for them, and everyone made their own.

MAKING PASTA -- They showed how to shape the noodles. I thought that was tight. Sometimes I still make fake noodles with Play-Doh. Hehe.

I have NO idea when these aired, but they STILL stand out in my mind!

Yes, that was A 3 Hat Day, also one of my very favorites. Others that stand out in my memory were the one where he made a pizza, the one where he's sorting through his mail and comes across a letter addressed to "Liver Barton" that said he may have won a million dollars (still makes me laugh thinking about it), the one about with the "teamwork" dance routine, and the one with the athletes which included gymnast Liz Crandall. I love this show!!!!
