Personaly I like the old intro song better than the new one. Probably because I was used to it. Remakes "almost" never do the original justice. Trivia question for you all: Who sang the "Reading Rainbow" song?

I am watching the show with my baby niece and I just heard the new one for the first time. I hate it! I LOVED the old one! I miss it. :( In preparation for the song, I turned the volume up. I was sorely disappointed. Bring back the original!

Definitely the original. What were they thinking when they went back and reedited all the pre-2000 episodes of the show to feature the new theme song?
It also doesn't help that they didn't do a good job reediting them, meaning that you can still hear parts of the original theme in some episodes, the most prominent example being a segment with the show's original music composer Steve Horelick in the "Ty's One Man Band" episode (great segment, BTW).
The old one definitely since I grew up with it and I loved the 80s beat of it, although the new one is not too bad.
