Is it this show I'm thinking of?

It seems to me I remember a poem piece being recited on this show. I could have sworn it was done by the actress Esther Rolle, but I can't find anything on her IMDb page showing she was ever a part of any Reading Rainbow episode. The poem was basically about racial tolerance and I remember some of the lines being something to the effect of stop looking to see how much of a certain color makes up a person, and it ended with the line stop looking, start loving. Damn, it's driving me nuts :) Does this ring a bell with anyone?
