My idea for a Manimal movie

In this version, Dr. Jonathan Chase (Benedict Cumberbatch) has to stop a fellow colleague, Dr. Peter Olsen (Mads Mikkelsen), from mutating people with his DNA. He has a teenage daughter named Jessica (Jennifer Rose), with his wife Brooke McKenzie (Elizabeth Banks), who is in awe of his abilities, but is rather wary of her own powers. She's also good friends with Dr. Olsen's daughter, Ashley (Abigail Breslin.) However, she's secretly using her to get information about her father, who wants to kidnap her for his own gain. She's not really mean, though- just following Daddy's orders.

Oh, and Dr. Chase's middle name is Darwin.

Nice. I kind of like the mystery show element of the original, though.

My idea has somewhat of a mystery element to it, though. Jess is oblivious to her dad's powers at the beginning of the story- in fact, when she does find out about them, she asks if he's a mutant- and the script is told somewhat through her viewpoint.

I was talking more about the "crime show" cases in the original series, but maybe that could be worked into your idea (like maybe having both Jonathan and his scientist nemesis working as police consultants). I'd honestly rather see a TV reboot rather than a film reboot, but that's just my opinion. I really like your ideas, though.

Are you an actress and just put yourself into your movie idea? That sounds fun and I want to do that too. Here goes:

The most awesome guy on the planet Max Godly (Moonglum9) gets shipwrecked on a deserted tropical island and comes across Stacy, Linda, and Marie (Margot Robbie, Colleen Wing, and Jessica Alba) who were also stranded on the island a few days earlier. All of their clothing had been stolen by mischievous monkeys earlier in the day when the three had been frolicking in an island lake. To top it off, all of the fruit on the island is fermented, so these ladies run around in a constant state of drunken horniness. So after Max kills off a tribe of cannibal warriors who live on the other side of the island with his trusty nunchaku, the four stranded islanders live happily ever after.

The End

Any of you Hollywood movie execs interested - let's make it happen.
