Susan Walters

Of course I do remenber Susan WALTERS. She played Lorna FORBES from the pilot in june 1983 until the end of 1986. I was so devastated when she left the show for pursuing other projects such as HOTEL, ELVIS AND ME, NIGHTINGALES, DEAR JOHN, THE BIG EASY etc. She also starred along with her LOVING cousin CURTIS ALDEN 2 Linden ASHBY who is also her real life husband in the TV SERIES MELROSE PLACE, THE WAR NEXT DOOR.
She returned for several years in the daytime soap world playing new Diane JENKINS on Y&R (period during which Linden also starred as Cameron).
She then left the show for being in the prime-time series POINT PLEASANT but it unfortunately wasn't pick up for a second season.
Susan and Linden are still happily married and have two daughters.
Susan is such a beautiful, lovely and talented actress. Let's hope that she will soon find a brand new role worth her talent.

I haven't watched in a few seasons, but Susan Walters also appeared on Vampire Diaries as one of the main character's mother.

Totally loved her portrayal of Lorna, the spoiled rich girl with a really nasty attitude. After she left, and was replaced by another actress, it just wasn't the same anymore, and I quit watching. My favorite storyline was the fighting/love relationship between Lorna and Linc Beecham.

Yes I remember her very well.
