I cant remember the name of it, but there is one thing i have remembered for over 20 years it was so funny. Penny found the name "Ann" in Vince's diary. She went nuts at him saying "who is Ann?" etc. After quickly thinking on his feet (as he always did) Vince explained how he was hurt after she didnt know. Ann was short for anniversary it was that day when they first met and he always remembered it. Paul Nicholas delivered the lines with his usual excellent charm and at the end, Penny was so sorry to have upset him. In the final scene, we see Vince go to a phone box, call a number and ask "Can I speak to Ann please......" I still remember that, it was so funny when i saw it.

The two leads had such chemistry in that show and the Writing was excellent. Another scene has just popped into my mind, when he claimed to have written her some poetry and he told her, moving her to tears.....It was later when they were kissing to some music he had put on that she realised it was the words from a Cat Stevens track.....Classic comedy.

Oh boy, what a tough question. There are so many! But I always remember the bit in Series 2 - I think it was the first episode - where Penny talks to Vince about Graham. He asks her what her married name is, she finally tells him it was Pratt, & he starts eating melon very quickly. Penny asks what's so funny & he asks, "Who's laughing?" with an innocent look. Then Penny tells him Graham changed his name to Perry, & Vince says, "What, Perry Pratt?" It's a fantastic scene.

It might be the same episode, but I also love it when Vince gets drunk & goes to Penny's, that's fab. "Tell me, Daphne, speaking as an outsider, what do you think of the human race?"

The episode where Vince finally meets nasty Graham, and suddenly comes over all tough and brave by challenging Penny's horrid ex to "step outside" for a fist fight in the restaurant car park. Graham bottles it, leaving Vince as hero of the hour and the Alpha Male king of the jungle.

Only after the end credits have rolled do we get one of writer John Sullivan's classic, fabulous comic reveals... Vince has made pre-arrangements with his best mate Lennie to fill the back seat of his car with hardmen waiting to ambush Graham for him!

There's also the episode where Penny decides to take revenge on Vince by stealing all the cash and credit cards from the wallet left in his car. She duly helps herself to everything as he pops out to the off-licence... Comic reveal- Vince's friends have been sitting in the back of the car watching her the whole time! Classic.

Any episode which focuses on the colourful Pinner clan is guaranteed to have some favourite moments in it. When Les, Rita and Cliffy pay a visit to the Warrender family home we get one of the show's classic one-liners. Rita (played to feisty perfection and with enormous warmth by the great Ann Lynn) spots her spectacularly destructive younger son playing with Norman Warrender's fragile model ship -
"Cliffy! Put that down, babe, before mummy kicks yer teeth in!"

Love that episode with Graham (played by the late Andrew Tourell)

Graham: "I'm a vegan"
Vince: "Well, you'd never guess it!"
Graham: "Do you know what a vegan is, Vince?"
Penny: "Well of course he knows what a vegan is, don't you Vince?"
Vince: "Absolutely. I never missed an episode of Star Trek"

Class.

Well I'm not sure if it counts as it's presented like a movie but the Christmas special probably, I like the way it was shot like a film opposed to a sitcom with great locations and great music from the period.

For my favourite regular episode it is probably the third episode 'Let's Spend the Night Together,' very funny with Vince continually topping up Pen's wine glass and trying to get her to spend the night.
